From Bangkok, drive along Highway No. 35 (Thon Buri-Pak Tho) passing Samut Sakhon, Samut Songkhram and then Highway Number 4 (Buddha Monthon Road) to Nakhon Pathom and then Phetchaburi, a total distance of about 123 kilometers (in Phetchaburi you will see signs how to get to Hua Hin or Cha-AM).
Bus
Both air conditioned and non air-conditioned buses depart from Southern Bangkok Bus Terminal for Phetchaburi, Hua Hin and Cha-AM daily. The trip takes around 3 hours Contact 02-435 1199/200
Train
Visitors can take trains from either Hua Lamphong Railway Station or Bangkok Noi Railway Station in Bangkok. There are daily several trains going to Hua Hin, Cha-Am or Phetchaburi. The trip takes around 4 hours depending on the train selected. Train choices are Sprinters, Express, Rapid, and a few I cannot pronounce. Call 1690 for more information.
